Best I Read in 2011

I realized I had not added the link to the book that prompted me to update my “best of” list for 2011.  So, here is my  revised, revised list (not all titles were published in 2011, but I read them this past year!) Also, check out my third option for a new theme…  So far, option two seems to have received the most positive comments (it was called “red line”).  This theme is called “Weaver”…

I loved State of Wonder and am hoping to read The Weird Sisters soon. I am reading The Imperfectionists right now. I like your current theme – the white printing on the maroon background is a good contrast!

Thank you, Laurie! Of the five choices, I think this one is my favorite so far… I must like the color red! :) It is still a bit cluttered, but the most helpful links are near the very top which I like. Thank you!

Your site IS less crowded looking, but I don’t have the old one to compare it to, so I can’t say why. You do have some blank gray space to the right of the ads next to the “Leave a Reply.” Could you slim down the column of Discussion Questions, widening your comment column?

I don’t care for this field header. It is too busy and I find it hard to read your blog headline and subtitle print with this background. Hope this helps.

I don’t see where to leave comments about the new headings so I hope you don’t mind if I leave one here. I liked the wheat field – it was peaceful. I don’t really like the current rock theme- and I really like rocks. But it almost looks like the body of a wrinkly elephant. I know that seems silly but that is what struck me when I first saw the page. :)

I don’t like this one. I was also reminded of an elephant!
