Award Season is upon us!!  Here is a sneak preview to this year’s Pulitzer front-runners.  This list is the product of the never-ending “best of 2010″ lists, other awards, an author’s reputation, and many other predictor variables.

  1. My guess is Egan’s Goon Squad – it’s the ultra-literary, slightly unusual, read-often-enough-but-not-over-exposed-like-Freedom choice. I actually haven’t read it, though. My favorite book of last year was probably Freedom. But it’d be awesome if Nemesis won, too – one last Pulitzer for our greatest living writer!
