Review:  Last week my husband and I were looking for a book on tape to entertain us on our way to our cabin, and I stumbled upon this collection of Car Talk classics at my local library.  I used to listen to Click and Clack every Saturday on my way to the barn and just love their sense of humor, their extensive knowledge of a subject I am — quite honestly — not that interested in, and how they find a way to humanize the machines we are so addicted to.

So, even though I knew my husband had never listened to Car Talk, I checked it out and gave it a whirl.  Happily, both my hubby and I gave it two thumbs up.  I had heard at least one of the clips before, but the rest were new to me and quite funny.  Tom and Ray made the last hour of our drive go by very quickly and we arrived with smiles on our faces.

So, if you are in the neighborhood for a quick audio CD, I would definitely recommend this — to both genders.  Might be a good gift idea, but it is only an hour so after the recipient has heard it once, he or she may then be willing to regift it and share the laughs with others…
