In my continuing efforts to make my site even more user-friendly, I have added a new feature — “Subscribe by email!”  For my readers who are not obsessed with the blogosphere and couldn’t find a Reader even if they knew what that was — have no fear!  Simply click on “Subscribe by email” (under my RSS button — the big orange button on the front of my blog).  This way you can every new post sent directly to your email address — and don’t worry about spam.  I tried out the feature and my spam count has been unaffected. 

The only downside to this is you will miss out Gallebee’s beautiful pictures since only the text of the post is sent.  So, I recommend you check out her site on Flickr.  Her sense of composition is stunning…

For those of you who do love the blogosphere as much as I do — check out the nominees for the 8th Annual Weblog Awards (affectionately known as “the Bloggies“).   A couple of past winners that were cracking me up this morning…  My Boyfriend is a Twat and The Redneck Mommy.  My cousin turned me on to this one a few months ago: I Can Has Cheezburger?  I haven’t had time to check this one out yet, but it is up for a ton of awards: Dooce  I voted for one of my favorite bloggers: Skelliewag.  Her blog has been invaluable to me the past 3 months — good luck, Skellie!  I noticed there was no category for ”Best Lit Blog” — but feel free to check out my blog roll for lots of great literary sites…
