Happy Post-Thanksgiving, Readers!!
Thanksgiving is my very favorite holiday — a day dedicated to gratitude, good eats, and football… doesn’t get much better than that… I spend every Thanksgiving with my family in Michigan, going to the Lions game, eating my grandmother’s unbeliveable macaroni and cheese, and trying to eat only one piece of pecan pie. Love it! Since I spend Christmas in Florida with my in-laws, I celebrate Christmas with my Mom and Grandma the Friday morning after Thanksgiving and just love knowing that the bulk of my shopping is over well before “Black Friday”!
So, in gratitude for all of you, my readers, I have decided to start the first annual “Book Club Classics Black Friday Book Extravaganza” !! Every hour for the next five hours I will post a gift list of books for a specific audience to help you all get a head start (or finish up?) your holiday shopping — without the hassle of fighting the crowds and traffic! In regards to your lists, this is a great idea. I do have a request how about memoirs, I am a big fan of memoirs.

Hi Sharon — Actually, my hubby is a die-hard Packers fan and I have Aaron Rogers and Donald Driver on my fantasy football team, so we both were full of smiles at the game!
