Happy Tuesday!  Whenever I hear about new sites or resources that I think might interest my readers, I try to share them.  I was recently contacted about Lit Drift, described as “a new blog, resource, and community dedicated to the art & craft of fiction in the 21st century.”

Here is a brief description I received from the founder:

Besides editorial content, we’ve got daily creative prompts, daily short stories, and a weekly free book giveaway… We also accept reader submissions-if you or your readers would like to contribute anything (fiction, bar napkin doodles, original power ballads to your grandma, etc), we’d be happy to feature it on our site.

I toured around the site and found all sorts of interesting tidbits — and who doesn’t love free books?!  If you decide to check it out, let me know your thoughts!

I have been a high school teacher for 15 years and am ready to embark on a new project! I hope to promote classic literature and help book clubs rediscover these gems.
