Happy Tuesday!  Today I have a cool giveaway and a great new site for book lovers who like to make a difference!

Recently I received the following email:

Bibliotarian.org is a new book price comparison site where 100% of proceeds
are given to charities… We search for the lowest new and used book prices at Amazon, AbeBooks,
Alibris, and Half.com, and also check the availability of swappable books at
BookMooch and PaperBackSwap.  Users can choose from nearly a million
501(c)(3)s to receive half of the bookseller affiliate earnings that their
purchases generate (except Amazon purchases, due to Amazon rules).  The
other half goes to the charity operating the site, Book Wish Foundation, an
all-volunteer 501(c)(3) helping thousands of Darfuri refugees to read.
Registered users can also recommend books for supporters of their favorite
charities, such as Jodi Picoult’s “Harvesting the Heart” for Children’s
HeartLink.

I had not heard of Bibliotarian before. It looks to be a good service and one I need to to get our own site listed with.
