I missed last week’s BTT, but since today’s topic is such a nice companion to last week’s topic, I thought I would include both!
What book would you love to be able to read again for the first time?
In the perfect follow-up to last week’s question, as suggested by C in DC:
Is there a book that you wish you could “unread”? One that you disliked so thoroughly you wish you could just forget that you ever read it?
While I have a few ideas of my own — and will share them shortly — I would especially like to hear about which titles popped into all of your minds when you read each topic. Please feel free to share in the comments below!!
I’m sure I will continue to think of answers for both all afternoon, but for now I will just respond with those titles that first came to mind.
My first thought — I wish I could read Pride and Prejudice again for the first time! I would also add September by Rosamunde Pilcher. Those two novels grabbed me from the first page… I’ll add others in the comments if I need to!
Regarding works I wish I could “unread” — since I am quite comfortable putting aside a book that just isn’t doing it for me, I really do not have an answer for this question. I also tend to forget things fairly easily!
Comes in handy occasionally…
So, what about you?! Which titles would you love to read for the first time again? Which do you wish had never entered your brain at all?

I chose some interesting ones. Here is mine
I thought “Bridges of Madison County” was utter dreck.
Yep… I have to agree with you, Anna! Surprisingly, I actually kind of liked the movie?!
Oh, I loved September too!
Nice to meet another fan! September is one of the few books I have read more than once…! Thank you for stopping by!
“Pride and Prejudice” would definitely be on “unread” list, but I would also put Sharon Shinn’s “Archangel”, Tolstoj’s “Anna Karenina” and some Shakespeare. I know that all put together doesn’t make much sense, but I love them!
The only one I’m unfamiliar with is Archangel, but I love the other choices so maybe I should check it out!!
