Friday Finds!

friday+finds Friday Finds!

Now that I have completed my weekly literary trip through the 50 states, I have decided to join “Friday Finds”!

So, starting this week, I will post about whatever interesting literary tidbits I came across over the course of the week that I think others might enjoy, too! As always, feel free to leave comments about what topics you would like more (or fewer) links on and I will try to accommodate.

“Friday Finds” is similar to what I’ve been doing on Saturdays with “Literary Stampede” (and will therefore replace it).

I know many of my readers subscribe through email and not through a Reader, so I will continue to pass along series I enjoy from Omnivoracious (Amazon’s blog) and from Reader’s Advisory, too. I love reading which books are being reviewed in newspapers across the country as well as which books are being read by the most readers. So, those of you who have enjoyed “Literary Stampede” every Saturday — have no fear! Friday Finds will be even better…  but without a picture of a horse icon smile Friday Finds!

Happy Reading!

Thank you, Molly at My Cozy Book Nook for introducing me to Friday Finds!  icon smile Friday Finds!

    Some nice finds. :)

I really liked the NYTimes piece. It reminded me of what it truly was like to read as a girl, but it also showed me that I do still read that way most of the time. :D My favorite is curling up in bed at the end of a long day, turning off everything (except the book light), hiding under the covers, and just getting lost in the book. Lately I’ve been slipping but that article was a great reminder.
