For those of you without blogs who wonder how you, too, can get free books sent to you… Well, I have found a place! And it only requires a little bit of energy on your part…
Barnes and Noble has a great book club feature that allows readers to request free copies of ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) with only a small commitment of time on your part. After you have read the novel (by a certain date), simply log in to the Barnes and Noble book club and share your impressions!
So, not only do you get a free book — literally fresh off the presses — but you get a no-pressure book club experience… without even leaving your home!
I just signed up for the latest ARC — A Fortunate Age by Joanna Smith Rakoff. I’ll be sure to not only review the novel, but let you know what the book club experience was like, too…
Or, even better, join me! Here’s the link to the Barnes and Noble Book Clubs. The First Look choices are on the left side, under “Browse Book Clubs.” Also — check out the Center Stage feature which highlights a new author every month.
If you decide to join me, be sure to let me know!
