BTT: Best and Banned

btt21 BTT: Best and Banned

What, in your opinion, is the best book that you haven’t liked? Mind you, I don’t mean your most-hated book–oh, no. I mean the most accomplished, skilled, well-written, impressive book that you just simply didn’t like.

I actually answered this week’s BTT last week, although I didn’t choose only one…  So, I will pick The Good Soldier by Ford Madox Ford and will turn my attention to Banned Books week…  Which actually relates to this week’s BTT somewhat since a Banned Book was obviously disliked by someone at some time, and most tend to be very well-written, too!  Fortunately, most of us simply choose to dislike a book, privately, and do not try to mandate that others do not have the chance to choose to dislike it themselves…!

I’ve posted about banned books a number of times in the past, but hate to let the week go by without at least a mention.  So, feel free to check out a couple of recent posts:

Or, the ALA’s week dedicated to Banned Books

Or, Time magazine‘s recent article

So, let me know what books you have “appreciated,” but disliked…  whether banned or not!  icon smile BTT: Best and Banned
