Spark: Raise Your Mind to the Power of Infinity and Create Anything by Arupa Tesolin

Released: 2008 / 105 pagesspark Review: Spark (Free Give away #10)

First sentence: “Probably the greatest human accomplishment is the act of creating something from nothing.”

Summary (from jacket cover): The book demystifies the hidden connections that underlie the secret feminine science of creating. This know-how illuminates the pathway from the unimaginable to the imaginable, to the conceivable, and then the created.

Review: This positive little book is coincidentally the perfect companion to the book I reviewed last week (You-Turn).  While last week’s book highlighted individuals who had already re-created themselves and realized their dreams, Spark helps you get there!  And, since no one won last week’s book, I will add it to this week’s give-away — experience two inspiring works to help you achieve whatever latent dreams are waiting to be realized!

One of my favorite quotes is “When the student is ready, the teacher will come.”  This quote has never been more relevant than the past year.  I was ready to make a few major changes — and a bunch of minor tweaks — and I seem to be attracting books to help me on this journey; first The New Earth, then You-Turn, and now Spark.

The introductory quote of Spark is “I laugh when I hear that the fish in the water is thirsty” by Kabir.  This sets the tone by reminding us that we not only have what we need at this time, but that our future dreams are already being realized, if only in our subconscious.  In the words of the author:

Spark is about learning how you can participate more actively and consciously amidst the mystery and intrigue, chaos, effort and joy in the process of moving from the inconceivable to the conceivable by means of a vision, then to the probable by galvanising your intention to create and finally, through both explicit and implicit means, arriving at the created result.  This book reveals the ‘secret’ behind the science of creating — how to raise your mind to the power of infinity so you can express your highest power to fulfil your unique purpose with a limitless horizon of possibility.  It show you the ways to create in greater harmony with the forces of the universe.

Much of the book involves meditations and workshops to help you acquire your vision and basically get out of your own way!  The last couple chapters also address self-defeating emotions such as fear and doubt and how to overcome them.

So, if you think you would enjoy a couple of guides leading to a future of possibilities and dreams, simply leave me a comment below!

Hi Judy! Thank you for the comment! I’m afraid that Heather won the give-away, but I seem to be very drawn to positive books right now, so I’m sure there will be a similar give-away very soon :)
