The Reader’s Advisor published their predictions for Summer Releases Sure to Be Bestsellers today!
And after 2 perfect days here in Minnesota (70, sunny, no bugs or wind), I am ready to plan my beach reading for the upcoming months!
The full list is long and lovely, but here are a few that I’m particularly excited about…
June
- Meg Cabot — Queen of Babble Gets Hitched
- Marian Keyes — This Charming Man
- Billie Letts — Made in the USA
- W.E.B. Griffin — Death and Honor (for my husband)
July
- Nora Roberts — Tribute
The list includes 58 more titles! I would love to hear which ones YOU are particularly looking forward to — check out the full list and then drop me a comment!!
Also in the spirit of summer reading… HarperCollins is pairing with Saks and giving away summer books in a bag!

I wonder what they base this list on.. I read One in a Million by Kimberla Lawson as an ARC and it was really below average.
Well… I have a feeling the standards are a bit more… “lenient” since it’s summer reading?
Or maybe they are simply predicting what titles will be popular, but not necessarily good
You will love Made In The U.S.A. by Billie Letts. I have read it and you will NOT be able to put it down.
Thank you for the recommendation, Mary Alice! I read one of Letts’ other works and really enjoyed her sense of humor. I’ll be sure to check out Made in the U.S.A., too!
