New and Improved Sunday Links!
By Kristen on Mar 16, 2008 in Literary News
Thanks to YOUR feedback to my survey (haven’t taken it yet? Here’s the link), I found that my weekly Sunday Links post has been one of the least popular. So, I thought I would revamp my offerings and focus more on the literary world…
Here’s what professional readers are buzzing about this week:
- England’s answer to Oprah?
- 2008 Audio Book Awards!
- NYT Book Review’s Skim of the week
- Borders’ new selling philosophy — fewer titles / greater face time
- Memorable literary hoaxes through the ages
- Who’s the better writer — Obama or Clinton?
- The National Book Critic Circle Awards are out
And I was fortunate to find a couple of great lit blogs this week…
- Bloody Hell, It’s A Book Barrage is as clever and interesting as it sounds, and she is bold enough to admit she doesn’t enjoy Jane Austen (what!?)
- Book Addiction has a plethora of reviews on all sorts of contemporary books
- Books on the Brain is well-written and also includes interesting reviews
- Shelf Life states “books are my drug of choice” — so true…
- Worth Reading truly is…
Happy Sunday!
