New and Improved Sunday Links!

Thanks to YOUR feedback to my survey (haven’t taken it yet?  Here’s the link), I found that my weekly Sunday Links post has been one of the least popular.  So, I thought I would revamp my offerings and focus more on the literary world…

Here’s what professional readers are buzzing about this week:

  • England’s answer to Oprah?
  • 2008 Audio Book Awards!
  • NYT Book Review’s Skim of the week
  • Borders’ new selling philosophy — fewer titles / greater face time
  • Memorable literary hoaxes through the ages
  • Who’s the better writer — Obama or Clinton?
  • The National Book Critic Circle Awards are out

And I was fortunate to find a couple of great lit blogs this week…

  • Bloody Hell, It’s A Book Barrage is as clever and interesting as it sounds, and she is bold enough to admit she doesn’t enjoy Jane Austen (what!?)
  • Book Addiction has a plethora of reviews on all sorts of contemporary books
  • Books on the Brain is well-written and also includes interesting reviews
  • Shelf Life states “books are my drug of choice” — so true…
  • Worth Reading truly is

Happy Sunday!
