Sunday Links — February 10th
By Kristen on Feb 10, 2008 in Literary News
Happy Sunday! I am off to see No Country For Old Men… (wish me luck…). Once football season winds down (and what a 4th quarter last Sunday… Tyree’s catch actually made me log off…), my husband and I spend our Sundays going to see the Oscar nominees. So far we have enjoyed Juno (the name of our dog coincidently) and Michael Clayton, and we agree that neither came close to Gone Baby, Gone.
Friday I actually got a request for a discussion guide for No Country (for the film, not the book). I hadn’t considered doing guides for movies, but I’m intrigued by the idea! Plus, the request came from one of my best customers (he has already requested 4 kits! Thank you!). So, I’ll give it a go… I’m a little apprehesive about the violence, but I figure I can always close my eyes… right?
Anyway, here’s my pick of the best this week… Hope you enjoy them!
